And when it comes to a book by Brookelyn Mosely. I can always count on having an out of body experience. This book was sweet, funny and beautiful. Loved Luke and Juliette from the jump is was so good. I love the character development. I always like that the story was written in the then and now format so insight was given to the reader about what happened in the past. I was mad at Luke in the beginning for what he said that was so mean and I had tears in my eyes. It was so cruel of him to say those things to Juliette. Luke was sweet and then he started acting like an ass. I know one thing Juliette better than me cause I would’ve socked him in the face. But her breaking that window gave me life we good. Side bar: Love Mykal’s growth. I’m proud of her. Definitely redeemed herself. Anyways back to my babies. Seeing stuff form Luke’s point of view gave a better understanding however he was wrong as hell. Trey though he appeared in limited is a supporting character I would love to see again. Like how he basically told Luke in a gentle way stop being an asshole and just show her who you are. I love the interview and the conversation there after everything was so authentic about it. Book this is a Brookelyn Mosely book so I expected no less. Brookelyn is a baddie with the pen. I loved the entire dynamic of this book and the development of the story. It was so beautiful. It was a big ball of energy. There was subtle, invisible force that underlie all physical phenomena between these two. The emotional and energetic atmosphere was intangible but very apparent. Everything about this story was so authentic and sensual. It gave me an out of body experience. I was so happy and at peace reading this. I was so well written and perfect. I can’t wait to see cameos of these two and what’s next the Energy series. Brookelyn you never cease to amaze me. Everything you touch is gold.
