I adore Xander but it’s Lenox forever. He looks to be the perfect match for her. I believe the author ought to have only written this book. We didn't need to learn about her and Lennox's past. Readers shouldn't fall in love with more than one hero. Even while I adore Xander, I'll never love him as much as Lennox and not lament the fact that they never had the chance to fall in love properly or that his children never got to meet him. This book was well written and I loved it. I hate them I’m admitting this out loud but I love Xander’a character he’s good to and for Rylee but I can’t ignore the sadness that lingers knowing what happened to Lenox in Last comes love. This book being called Ready or not has so much purpose and meaning because whether we the readers or Rylee’s character was ready she’s found a new love interest. This was not a story I was prepared for. It wasn’t something I wanted to love either because I have been and will always be Team Lennox. I was very skeptical in the beginning and I tried my absolutely best to hate Xander but I ended up loving the character (still team Lennox though). This was a beautiful and realistic start to Rylee’s journey. This book really gave meaning to “grief is the final act of love” and I loved every moment of it. Seeing her being open to possibilities made even better and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for them next year. Kudos to you baby. I love you and I loved this book.
